The candidates may note that the registration window will remain open till 7 August 2024. This round is conducted for the candidates to take admission to engineering and other programs across public institutions across the state.
According to the counseling schedule, students will be able to lock in their submitted choices on 7 August 2024. The mop-up round seat allotment result will be released on 9 August 2024 based on the options submitted by the candidates.
The candidates who have already registered for the same will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 and confirm their participation in the mop-up round. However, the new candidates have to pay Rs 1,000. Also, all participants will have to submit fresh choices of colleges and courses.
After the payment of the registration fee, applicants will be able to view all colleges and courses available to them according to their eligibility criteria. Students are advised to select at least 20 choices.
WBJEE Counselling 2024: Eligibility criteria
- Candidates who have been allotted seats and paid the acceptance fee in either round 1 or round 2.
- Not allotted seats in any round
- Not registered earlier
- All registered candidates except those who have withdrawn a seat from the e-counseling system due to various reasons during previous rounds such as on the grounds of eligibility or similar cancellations.

- Registration, payment of registration fees, and choice filling: August 5 to August 7
- Modification and locking of choices: August 7
- Seat allotment result: August 9
- Payment of seat acceptance fee (for fresh allottees) and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission: August 9 to August 12
WBJEE Counselling 2024: How to register?
- Firstly candidates need to visit the official website.
- Then enter your login credentials and click on submit.
- Provide the necessary details such as personal details, academic details, bank account details (in case of any refund), address, etc.
- Candidates must provide the passing status, total marks, and obtained marks in English of Class-10, Class 12, and Class 12 physics, mathematics, chemistry, biotechnology, biology, computer science, computer application, electronics or information technology, informatics practices, technical vocational subject, agriculture, engineering graphics, business studies, entrepreneurship, English.
- Choose the preferred college and pay the required fees.
- At last click on submit and save the confirmation page.
