SSC GD 2025: The Staff Selection Commission has delayed the release of the GD Constable notification. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was about to publish the General Duty (GD) constable recruitment 2024 notification today, August 27. Interested candidates will be able to apply for the SSC GD 2025 recruitment by visiting the official website i.e. ssc.nic.in.

According to the official notification, “As per the tentative calendar of the Examinations for the year 2024-2025, Notice of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 for inviting Online Applications from the aspiring candidates was scheduled to be published on the website of the Commission on 27.08.2024. However, due to administrative reasons, Notice of the said Exam will now be issued on 05.09.2024.”

The candidates who wish to participate in this recruitment drive must lie between the age group of 18 to 23 years. The SSC GD 2025 selection process includes Computer Based Test (CBT), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination.

The exam will be computer-based, featuring 80 questions for a total of 160 marks, and will consist of four sections: General Intelligence and reasoning, General Knowledge and general Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. The posts offered through the SSC GD 2025 recruitment drive are as follows-

  • Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF) 

  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)

  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 

  • Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) 

  • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) 

  • Secretariat Security Force (SSF) 

  • Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) 

  • Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau)

SSC GD 2025: How to apply? 

  • Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. ssc.gov.in. 

  • Then click on the registration link available on the home page. 

  • Enter your login credentials and click on submit. 

  • Fill out the application form and upload the required documents. 

  • Pay the fees and click on submit. 

  • Save the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
