BIS Recruitment 2021: The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has notified Scientist B job for engineers and postgraduates. A total of 21 positions in civil, instrumentation, environmental and textile engineering will be filled. 7 positions will also be filled in the Chemistry discipline. The application forms are available on the official website and candidates can fill and submit them on or before June 25.

Education qualification:
All posts: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than sixty percent marks in aggregate (fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes).
Having valid GATE score of 2019/2020/2021. The GATE score must be valid on 25.06.2021 (closing date of application).
Chemistry:
Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or equivalent [in Chemistry discipline only] with not less than sixty percent marks in aggregate (fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes).
Having a valid GATE score of 2019/2020/2021. The GATE score must be valid on 25.06.2021 (closing date of application).
Age limit: The maximum age limit of candidates is 30 years of age as of June 25.
Application fee: Candidates have to pay ₹100 as the application fee.
Candidates from SC/ST, Ex-Serviceman, Person with benchmark disability, Women Category are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection process: shortlisting of candidates for a personal interview will be based on GATE 2019, GATE 2020, GATE 2021 scores.

Step 2: Scroll down on the homepage and go to the ‘Career Opportunities’ tab
Step 3: A new page will open. Click on the ‘Recruitment advertisement/Results’ link
Step 4: On the new page, click on ‘View’ next to Recruitment to the post of Scientist-B
Step 5: Now, select the option ‘Apply’ on the new page
Step 6: The registration page will open. Click on ‘New Registration’
Step 7: Enter your details to register for the BIS Scientist B recruitment
Step 8: Once registered, fill in the application form, upload required documents, and pay the exam fee
Step 9: Submit the application form and download it
Step 10: Take a printout of the form safely for future reference
