BPSC Director-Cum-State Fire Officer Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Withdrawn: Bihar Public Service Commission has issued a notification mentioning withdrawal of BPSC Director-Cum-State Fire Officer post  as candidate does not qualify the minimum work experience required as per the advertisement.

“Important Notice: For the post of Director-cum-State Fire Officer under Home (Police) Department, Govt of Bihar-Requisition is returned to the Department. 

Candidate doesn’t qualify the minimum work exp. required as per the advt. (Minimum 20 Yrs of Work Exp. in Fire services out of which at least 2 Yrs. work exp. of Division Fire Officer or at least 2 years work exp. in equivalent post of Sr. Supervisory officer). Candidate is in AC (Fire) which is level 10 Rank while Divisional Fire officer is level 12 & Sr. Supervisory officer is level 11. Cert./Proof required to Prove that FSTI NISA Campus Hakimpet, Hyderabad- 78 is a recognized Institute of Central Govt. which offers training course of Senior Supervision Officer.

Remarks – No representation submitted regarding Ineligibility by the candidate,” read the official notification. 

Bihar Public Service Commission had earlier released a notification for the Director-cum-State Fire Officer post. Interested candidates were allowed to apply from 05/04/2024 to 22/04/2024.

 BPSC Director-Cum-State Fire Officer Recruitment 2024: Qualification

Graduation from the Faculty of Science from a recognized institute or Graduation (Fire Engineering) or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical/Automobile subject with passed Divisional officer course from National Fire College, Nagpur or recognized by the Central Government. Must have received minimum three months training prescribed for Senior Supervisory Officer from any other institute.

 BPSC Director-Cum-State Fire Officer Recruitment 2024: Work Experience 

At least 20 years of work experience in the fire fighting field, of which at least two years of work experience as Divisional Fire Officer or an equivalent post of Senior Supervisory Officer and minimum 02 years of work experience.
