GPSC has declared the result of State Tax Inspector (STI) Class-III; ( Advt No. 80/2018-1

The result of the Combined Competitive Examination (Main) for the post of State Tax Inspector, Class-III (Advertisement No. 80/2018-19) held on 24-November2019 and 01-December-2019 is hereby declared as per Annexure-I. 2. 3. 4. The above result is declared taking into consideration the provisions of the State Tax Inspector, Class-III Competitive Examination Rules, 2018, dated 12th October, 2018 and amendments made thereafter from time to time and other relevant applicable criteria. As provided in the State Tax Inspector, Class-III Competitive Examination Rules, 2018, dated 12th October, 2018 and amendments made thereafter from time to time, (i) As per Rule-14(1) : the merit has been prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks (total marks) awarded to the candidates in the Main Examination (i.e. 400 marks of written examination). (ii) (iii) (i) As per Rule 14(3) : WaitingList is prepared by the Commission. As per Rule 16 : the candidate, who fails to attend the main examination or fails to attend any of the main examination papers shall considered as ineligible for selection. The Reserved Category Candidates (EWS/SC/ST/SEBC), who get either equal or more than minimum marks fixed as qualifying standard for general candidates and have not availed of any relaxation in age, qualifying standard, etc. at any point of the examination process (Meritorious reserved Category {MRC} Candidates) are selected against unreserved common posts as per in order of merit, as per Government circular, GAD No. PVS-1099-MM-13-G4 dated 29-1-2000, PVS-2010-03-900-G4, dated 23/07/2004 and Govt. Resolution, GAD No. PVS-102019-221-G.4 Dated 07/02/2019.

The Reserved Category candidates, who have though secured their place in the merit of General common category, however, they are selected against the posts of their respective categories as they have availed the benefit of relaxation in age/ Cut-Off Marks in P.T. or Main Written Examination as per Government circular, GAD No. PVS-1099-MM-13-G4 dated 29-1-2000, PVS2010-03-900-G4, dated 23/07/2004 and Govt. The resolution, GAD No. PVS102019-221-G.4 Dated 07/02/2019. (iii) 5. With regard to women’s reservations, the result is prepared taking into consideration the Government Notification GAD No. GS/97-13CRR/1096/2213/G-2, dated 9th April 1997, GAD Circular No. CRR/1096/2213/G-2, dated 22/05/1997 and GAD Resolution No. CRR/1096/2213/G-2 (Part-1), dated 11/11/2014. (A) PD (Physically Disabled) Candidates & Ex-Serviceman candidates have been considered under their respective category after relaxing up to 10% marks of the Qualifying Standard fixed for their respective category. All such candidates are accommodated against the reserved posts for the disabled/Ex-serviceman category, in their respective categories. Applicable disability Level & Type of disability for the post as provided in the Recruitment Advertisement is referred to while considering a post for PD Candidates. (B) As per the instruction of circular No. CRR-1096-2213-G.2, Dated: 31.08.2004 of General Administration Department & O.O. No. નવન-1095-206-Part-VR&D, dated 20/07/2015 of the Commission, the result of the widow candidates is prepared after the addition of Bonus Mark in the applicable Stage of Examination Process. Bonus marks are 5% marks of the obtained marks by the candidate. (C) In case of equal marks, the merit was assigned taking into consideration the date of birth (i.e. preference is given to the elder). (D) The result is prepared following the ratio laid down by the following Judgements of the Hon’ble Supreme Court:
