Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021: Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Group C Civilian at its various Air Force Stations/ Units across the country. Submit application within 30 days from the day of publication.

Age limit

• For all posts 18-25 years (The crucial date for determining age limit is the last date of receipt of application). Upper age relaxation up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PWD candidates.

Educational Qualification

1. Supdt (Store): Graduate of a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable: Experience in handling Stores and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in the Public or Private sector.

2. Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on the computer (35 wpm and 30 wmp correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

3. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade): Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university; Must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicles; Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism; Minimum two years experience in driving motor vehicles.

4. Cook (Ordinary Grade): Matriculation from a recognized board with a certificate or diploma in catering; 1-year experience in the trade.

5. Carpenter (Skilled): 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute.Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Carpenter from a recognized institute OR Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Carpenter Rigger.

6. Fireman: Matriculation or equivalent qualification. Must have undergone training in Fire Fighting under a state fire service or a recognized institute of repute.

7. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable: One year of experience as Watchman or Lascar or Gestetner Operator or Gardener from an Organization or Institute.

How to apply for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021 @Group C Civilian Vacancy?

Interested and eligible candidates can apply to any of the Air Force Stations (mentioned in notification) of their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications.

Application form duly typed in English /Hindi with recent photograph (passport size) duly self-attested. Any other supporting document (self-attested), Self-addressed envelope with stamp (s) Rs. 10/- pasted. The address should be typed in English/ Hindi.

A separate application for each post should be forwarded. Applicants to mention clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ——– AND CATEGORY——–“.

The last date for receipt of the Application Form is 30 days from the date of publication [Date of Advertisement: 24 to 30.10.2021] of this advertisement in ‘Employment News/Rozgar Samachar’.

All documents in support of Education Qualification, Age, Technical Qualification, Physically Handicapped, Experience Certificate & Caste Certificate (issued by the competent civil authorities in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), etc to be accompanied with the application should be self-attested.

In the case of an ex-serviceman self-attested photocopy of discharge, the book is to be submitted alongwith the application.

Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021: Indian Air Force AFCAT 2021– Indian Air Force invites online applications from unmarried men and women candidates for the selection of Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT 01/2021 for Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, NCC Special Entry and for Meteorology Entry Courses Commencing in July 2022. The last date for submission of the online application is 30.06.2021.

1. Entry Name:- AFCAT Entry

Educational Qualification for Indian Air Force AFCAT 2021

1. For Flying Branch

• (a) Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and (a) Graduation with a minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
  OR
  (b) BE/B.Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
  OR
  (c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

2. For Ground Duty (Technical) Branch

• Candidates with a minimum of 60% mark each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/ integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/Technology from recognized University OR cleared Sections A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (as applicable) by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the relevant disciplines.

3. For Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches

(aa) Administration & Logistics: Graduate Degree (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

(ab) Accounts: B.Com Degree (Minimum three years degree course) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

(ac) Education: MBA/ MCA or MA/ MSc degree in English/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Statistics/ International relations/ International Studies/ Defence Studies/ Psychology/ Computer Science/ IT/ Management/ Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Public Relation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together in Post-Graduation (Minimum two years programme) and 60% marks in graduation, (both recognized by UGC/ Competent Accreditation Authority). For integrated courses (single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry), the minimum duration must be as per prevailing UGC guidelines with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

4. For NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch)

• NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate acquired on or after 01 Jan 17 is mandatory. Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2. Graduates with a minimum of three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

5. For Meteorology Entry

• Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment /Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together (Provided Maths and Physics were studied at Graduation Level with a minimum of 55% marks in each).

Application Fee

Age limit:- Candidate born between 16 January 2001 and 29 December 2004 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification for Indian Air Force Airmen

(a) Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade)

Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream, as mentioned in the drop-down menu of the apply online section under candidate’s login on the CASB web portal www.airmenselection.cdac.in. The candidate should have completed the course from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).

(b) Group ‘Y’ [Except IAF(S) and Musician Trades]

Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/ State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

(c) Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Trade Only

Passed 10+2/ Intermediate/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

How to apply for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021 @Airmen Group X & Y Trades

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the Indian Air Force recruitment portal www.airmenselection.cdac.in from 22nd January 2021 (1000h) to 7th February 2021 (1700h).

Online Exam Date for Indian Air Force Airmen from 18 April to 22 April 2021.

Application Fee

Examination fee of Rs. 250/- is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through the payment gateway. The examination fee can also be paid by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.
