JAC: Jharkhand Board postpones Class 10 and 12 board exams for Shab-e-Barat, Check new schedule here

Jharkhand Board Exam 2025: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced to reschedule the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams due to the observance of Shab-e-Barat. Earlier the exam was scheduled for February 14, these exams will now be conducted on March 4, 2025.

This decision was taken because of a government holiday in the state for Shab-E-Barat. Along with the exam postponement, the Jharkhand government has declared a holiday for all schools across the state on February 14 in observance of Shab-e-Barat.

According to the official notification, the Matriculation (Class 10) exams for Kharia, Khortha, Kundmali, and Nagpuri subjects have been deferred to March 4. Also, for Intermediate (Class 12) students, the core language exams i.e. Hindi A and English A have been shifted to the same date.

The exams for both classes began on February 11, 2025. The exams for Class 10 are being conducted in the morning shift (from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm), while the Class 12 exams are scheduled in the afternoon shift (from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm).
