The first session of JEE Main 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from 22 to 31 January 2024. The JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Exam Timings
For a 3-hour paper:
First shift: 9 AM to 12 PM (IST)
Second shift: 3 PM to 6 PM (IST)
For a 3-hour, 30-minute paper:
First shift: 9 AM to 12:30 PM (IST)
Second shift: 3 PM to 6:30 PM (IST)
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) has two papers:
Paper 1: For admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (BE/BTech) at NITs, IIITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other institutions recognised by participating state governments. It also serves as the eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is required for admission to IITs.
Paper 2: For admission to BArch and BPlanning courses across India.
Participation in both sessions of JEE Main 2025 is not mandatory. Students who register for the January session can decide later whether to participate in the April session based on their performance and individual requirements.
JEE Main 2025: How to download the city slip, once released?
- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Then click on the city intimation link available on the home page.
- Enter your login credentials and click on submit.
- The city intimation slip will be displayed on the screen of the candidate.
- After viewing, download the same.
- The candidates can take a printout for future reference.
