The candidates who are going to appear for the same can visit the official website to check the released notice. The SSC CGL 2024 exam will be conducted in two tiers. Tier 1 will be commenced in September while SSC CGL tier 2 exam will be conducted in December.
According to the official notice, “The Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024(Tier-I) from 09-Sep-2024 to 26-Sep-2024. 2. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates.”
The candidates may note that this recruitment drive will fill out a total of 17,727 vacancies in the department. Shortlisted candidates will be assigned to Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ positions within various ministries, departments, organizations of the Government of India, as well as different constitutional, and statutory bodies, and tribunals.
The online registration was commenced on 24 June 2024 and the application window was closed on 27 July 2024. The SSC CGL 2024 application correction window will open from 10 August 2024. The candidates who have already registered for the same will be able to make changes in the application form if required. The correction window for the same will remain open till 11 August 2024.
The candidates will be selected through a two-tier computer-based examination (CBE), followed by a document verification round. The commission informed that the document verification will be done by the user departments after the declaration of final results.
The minimum qualifying marks in the examination are 30 percent for unreserved, 25 percent for OBC and EWS candidates, and 20 percent for all other categories.
