The UGC NET December 2024 session exam will conclude on 16 January 2025. The examination authority has already issued the UGC NET 2024 December admit card. Candidates appearing for the eligibility test can download the UGC NET December 2024 admit card session through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The candidates who are going to appear for the same must note that they will have to carry the following documents to their respective exam centers.
- A printed copy of the admit card was downloaded from the NTA website.
- One passport-size photograph (matching the one uploaded in the online application) for affixing on the attendance sheet.
- An original, valid, and non-expired photo ID matching the name on the admit card. Accepted IDs include:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Driving License
- Passport

| Number of Papers | There are two papers – Paper-I & Paper-II. |
| Number of Questions | 150 questions in total: 50 questions in Paper I and 100 questions in Paper II. |

| Exam Duration | Paper I will be for 1 hour, and Paper II will be for 2 hours. |
| Total Marks | Paper I will be 100 marks, and Paper II will be 200 marks. |
| Marking Scheme | 2 marks for each correct answer. No negative marks for wrong answers. |
UGC NET December 2024: Exam day guidelines
- Candidates need to report at the exam centers two hours before the commencement of the examination so as to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before time.
- The registration desk will be closed 30 minutes prior to the examination. Candidates will not be given entry inside the examination center other than the stipulated time mentioned in the admit card.
- Candidates are required to carry the UGC NET 2024 December session admit card to the examination center.
- Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without their hall tickets.
- One passport-size photograph is required (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at center during the examination
- Candidates must carry one of the authorized photo IDs aadhar card, PAN card, driving license, and passport (with the photograph) for verification purposes.
- The name on the photo identification must match the name as shown on the Admit Card. PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under the PwD category.
