UPSC NDA, CDS Exam Notification 2025 Out: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the National Defence Academy and the Naval Academy (UPSC NDA, NA) examination 1, 2025. Candidates, who are going to appear for the same, can now check the notice by visiting the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
UPSC NDA, CDS 2025: Here is what official notification says
“The Online Applications can be filled 31st December, 2024 till 6:00 PM. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card on the last working day of the preceding week of the date of examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website (http://upsc.gov.in) for downloading by candidates. No e-Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them,” read the official notification.
While the exam is conducted as the entrance examination for the National Defence Academy and the Naval Academy twice every year, the selection process consists of a written examination and an interview round (SSB test). Applicants shortlisted for the SSB test based on their performance in the written exam.
The NDA and NA written examinations consist of two 150-minute papers: Mathematics (300 points) and General Ability Test (600 marks). The SSB interview (intelligence and personality exam) contains two phases and a total score of 900. Only those who pass the first phase can participate in the second phase.
The candidates must also pass the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) to be admitted to the Air Force course. The written examination’s objective-type questions carry a penalty point of 0.33 for each incorrect answer.
