BRDC Shillong Recruitment 2021:- BioResources Development Centre (BRDC), Shillong, invites applications in the prescribed format for the posts of Technical Assistant and Laboratory Technician. The last date for submission of the application is 10th February 2021.
1. Post Name:- Technical Assistant
- No of posts:- 1 (One)
- Age limit:- The candidate should not be less than 18years and more than 27 years of age as of 1.01.2021. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, OBC, and PWD candidates. There is no age limit for those who are already in Government service or statutory bodies, etc.
- Salary:- Rs. 37,800/- plus D.A as applicable to State Government Employees and other admissible allowances.
- Educational Qualification:- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Botany/ Bio-Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Agriculture and Allied Fields (Preference will be given to those candidates with Research/ Technical Experience in the field of Phyto-chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Natural products/Instrumentation of 5 years and above).
2. Post Name:- Laboratory Technician
- No of posts:- 2 (Two)
- Age limit:- The upper age limit is 27 years as of 1.1.2021 relaxable by 5 years to SC/ST.
- Salary:- Rs. 28,750/- per month.
- Educational Qualification:- Post- Graduate in Life Sciences/ Agriculture/ Chemistry and related Fields with specialization in handling sophisticated analytical equipment.
