Gujarat corona update date 6 September 2020
Corona has been seen in Gujarat since the beginning of September. More than 1300 cases were reported in the state for the sixth consecutive day. Today 1335 cases of the corona were reported. The total death toll from Corona has reached 3108 with 14 more deaths in the state today. There are currently 16,475 active cases in the state, while 84,758 people have been discharged. 92 patients in the state are on a ventilator and 16,383 people are stable. The total number of infected people in the state has reached 1,04,341.

A total of 14 people were killed in the state today in Ahmedabad Corporation 3, Surat Corporation 3, Surat 2, Gandhinagar 1, Gir Somnath 1, Kutch 1, Morbi 1, Rajkot Corporation 1, Vadodara Corporation 1.
Where how many reported cases
185 in Surat Corporation, 152 in Ahmedabad Corporation, 97 in Jamnagar Corporation, 101 in Rajkot Corporation, 110 in Surat, 90 in Vadodara Corporation, 50 in Rajkot, 37 in Vadodara, 23 in Amreli, 27 in Bhavnagar Corporation, 22-22 in Bharuch, and Bhavnagar, 29-29 in Mehsana and Kutch. 31 cases were reported in Panchmahal.
How many patients have recovered today
A total of 1212 patients were cured and 72,561 tests were performed in the state today. With this, 27,80,681 tests have been conducted in the state so far. The recovery rate in the state is 82.23 percent.
7,35,952 persons have been quarantined in different districts of the state to date. Out of which 7,33,790 persons are home quarantine and 2,162 persons are housed in facility quarantine.
Another 48 cases have been reported in Rajkot today. The total number of cases in the city is 3713. With this, the total number of corona in the Rajkot district has reached 5449. 699 patients are under treatment in Rajkot. 664 are under treatment at COVID Care Center and 786 at Home Isolation. With this, a total of 2149 patients are active. Harishbhai Saholia, a well-known Sony trader from Rajkot, died of corona on Saturday. His wife Hansaben Saholia also died of corona today. Merchants in the Sony market are mourning the death of the Sony couple.
4 cases were reported in Porbandar district
In the last 24 hours, 586 corona tests were conducted in Porbandar. Of these, 86 RT-PCR samples, 400 RAT samples were tested by the District Panchayat Team and 100 by the RAT Sample Hospital. Among them is a 22-year-old man from the shadow area of Porbandar, a 50-year-old man from the Indira Nagar area, and a 40-year-old man from Ranavav village, while a 51-year-old woman from Kadiaplot area of Porbandar in another district has reported positive corona.
Rajkot District Panchayat put 4 ambulances for patients
Many patients from different villages of Rajkot come to the city for treatment. They are placed in a hospital or COVID care center. They have difficulty finding a vehicle to go home when they are discharged. So the District Development Officer has deployed 4 ambulances to take the patients home.
Opposition to private Kovid Hospital in Rajkot
Kovid Hospital in a private complex in Rajkot’s Wankaner Society was opposed by locals. Locals took to the streets to protest. The president of the society was protesting against the construction of a private COVID hospital in his complex without the permission of the society’s colony.
