GUJCET Counselling 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is going to close the counselling registration window for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2024) tomorrow, May 28 for engineering. Candidates who have not registered yet can submit their form by visiting the official website i.e. gujcet.gseb.org.

The candidates may note that the state board is also expected to announce the GUJCET counselling schedule 2024 and merit list release date soon on the official website, gujcet.gseb.org. Also, last year, 112 institutes offered 68,343 undergraduate engineering seats. The board will conduct multiple rounds of counselling in the order of merit.

This counselling is conducted for allotting admission to 95% of seats of government and grant-in-aid institutions, 50% of seats of unaided institutions will be based on Gujarat HSC and GUJCET results. Admission to 5% of seats in the participating colleges will be based on the JEE Main 2024.

Seat allocation will be announced based on the GUJCET cut-off 2024, which will be based on the number of registration, the number of candidates who appeared, the seat matrix, the difficulty level of the exam, and cut-off trends of past years.

GUJCET Counselling 2024: Application fees 

Candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 350 to apply for the exam. This fee can be paid online mode using SBIePay System using a credit card, debit card, or net banking method. This fee can also be paid using the SBIePay option of SBI Branch Payment.

  • Class 12 HSC (10+2) mark sheet.

  • Income certificate for a tuition fee waiver.

  • Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes certificate.

  • Certificate of Socially and Educationally Class (SEBC).

  • Certificate of economically weaker section (EWS).

  • Certificate of in-serviceman candidate.

  • Ex-serviceman candidate.

  • Persons with Disability (PWD) certificate.

  • Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. gujcet.gseb.org. 

  • Then click on the application link available on the home page. 

  • Fill out the application form and pay the required fees. 

  • After submitting the form download the confirmation page and save for future reference.
