IBPS PO Recruitment 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IPBS) is going to close the Probationary Officers (PO) 2024 recruitment registration window tomorrow, 21 August. Eligible candidates can submit their application form by visiting the official website at ibps.in.
Candidates must note that, according to the official exam schedule, the IBPS PO 2024 prelims examination is scheduled to be conducted on 19th and 20th October.
Additionally, the IBPS PO mains exam is scheduled for November 30, 2024, with the recruitment drive aiming to fill 4,455 probationary officer positions.
Candidates from SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and DESM categories must pay an application fee of Rs 175 to register for the exam, while all other candidates are required to pay Rs 850. The deadline for payment is August 21.
The IBPS PO selection process involves a preliminary exam, a mains exam, and a personal interview. The preliminary exam is only qualifying in nature and its scores are not considered in the final merit list, which is based on the marks obtained in the mains exam and the personal interview.
IBPS PO 2024 Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in Local Language: Candidates should be proficient in the local language as specified by the participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).
- Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computers is required.

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):
- Age Requirement: Candidates should be between 21 and 40 years old.
- Date of Birth Range: Born on or after 03.06.1983 and on or before 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive).

- Age Requirement: Candidates should be between 21 and 32 years old.
- Date of Birth Range: Born on or after 03.06.1991 and on or before 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive).

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):
- Age Requirement: Candidates should be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Date of Birth Range: Born on or after 03.06.1993 and on or before 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive).
