Post Office Recruitment 2022 Educational Qualification

  • Possession of a valid driving license for light and heavy Motors vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle)
  • Experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicle at least three years.
  • Pass in 10th standard from a recognized Board or Institute.
  • Desirable qualification: Three years service as Home guard or Civil Volunteers.

Age limit

Application fee: Along with the application form an Indian Postal Order for Rs.100/- or for the same amount on UCR to be taken, in any of the Post Office should be enclosed towards the application fee. The application without an application fee will be rejected. All the candidates should pay Rs. 100/- towards application fees (Excepted for SC / ST and Women candidates).

Selection Process: Selection of Driver shall be made on the basis of the test as prescribed by Department to assess their competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicles including knowledge of Motor Mechanisms and ability to remove minor defects in a vehicle from amongst the candidates possessing the requisite eligibility criteria mentioned above. The date and venue of the tests will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates.
