Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022:  Indian Coast Guard invites online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrik 02/2022 Batch. The last date for submission of the application is 14.01.2022.

1. Post Name:- Navik (General Duty)

  • No of posts:- 260 [UR:112, EWS:28, OBC:72, ST:11, SC:37]
  • Salary:- Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
  • Educational Qualification:- 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

2. Post Name:- Navik (Domestic Branch)

  • No of posts:- 35 [UR:12, EWS:2, OBC:9, ST:7, SC:5]
  • Salary:- Basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
  • Educational Qualification:- 10th Class passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

3. Post Name:- Yantrik

  • Engineering Branch wise vacancy list:
    # Yantrik (Mechanical): 13 [UR:4, EWS:1, OBC:2, ST:6, SC:0]
    # Yantrik (Electrical): 9 [UR:6, EWS:0, OBC:2, ST:0, SC:1]
    # Yantrik (Electronics): 5 [UR:3, EWS:0, OBC:1, ST:0, SC:1]
  • Salary:- Basic pay Rs. 29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, you will be paid Yantrik pay @ Rs. 6200/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
  • Educational Qualification:-
    10th class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
    OR
    10th& 12th class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE)” AND“Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Age limit

Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years as follows: –

  • Navik (GD) and Yantrik: Born between 01 Aug 2000 to 31 Jul 2004 (both dates inclusive).
  • Navik (DB): Born between 01 Oct 2000 to 30 Sep 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.

Applications will be accepted ‘Online only’ from 04 Jan 22 (1100 hrs) to 14 Jan 22 (1700 hrs). Candidates are to log on to https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in and follow the instructions for registering yourself with an E-mail ID/mobile number.

The candidates are to ensure the validity of E-mail and mobile numbers at least up to 31 Dec 2022.

Application Fee

  • Candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 250/-(Rupees Two hundred Fifty only) through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ Maestro/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021: The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, invites online applications from eligible candidates (Both Male and Female) for the posts of Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) in branch General Duty (GD), Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL-SSA) and Technical (Engineering & Electrical) for 02/2022 Batch. The last date for submission of the application is 17th Dec 2021.

1. Post Name:- General Duty (GD)

  • No of posts:- 30
  • Gender:- Male
  • Age limit:- Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
  • Educational Qualification:-
    (i) Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (i.e. 1st Semester to 8th Semester for BE/B.Tech Course or 1st year to last year for Bachelor Degree candidates wherever applicable).
    (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XIIth of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with 60% aggregate in Mathematics and Physics. {Candidates not in possession of Physics and Maths in 10+2 (intermediate) or equivalent level are not eligible for General Duty (GD)}.

2. Post Name:- Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL-SSA)

  • No of posts:- 10
  • Gender:- Both Male & Female
  • Age limit:- Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2003 (Both dates inclusive).
  • Educational Qualification:- Candidates holding current /valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued/ validated by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Minimum educational qualification – XIIth pass (Physics and Mathematics) with 60% marks in aggregate.

3. Post Name:- Technical (Engineering & Electrical)

  • No of posts:- 10
  • Gender:- Male
  • Age limit:- Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
  • Educational Qualification:-
    (i) Engineering degree with 60% marks in aggregate or Should have passed Sections A and B examination from the Institution of Engineers (India) in any of the disciplines listed below:-
    (aa) Engineering Branch. Naval architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace.
    (ab) Electrical Branch.Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engg. Or Power Electronics.
    (ii) At least 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and Maths in 12th class or Three-year diploma course with an aggregate of 60%.
