Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: Apply for Indian navy SSC officer posts

Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: The Indian Navy has invited application from unmarried eligible male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) for Extended Naval Orientation course commencing January 2022 onwards at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. The online application process has started and the last date to apply for the same is June 26, 2021.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, an exception is being made in the public interest wherein no INET (O) entrance examination for the ST – 22 course is being held for shortlisting candidate for SSB. The final merit list for induction will be prepared based only on SSB marks.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on the preference of entries and marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree fill fifth semester. SSC interviews will be tentatively scheduled from July 21 onwards at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Vishakhapatnam and Kolkata. The merit list will be compiled on the basis of SSB. Candidates recommended by SSB and declared medically fit will be appointed for training on the basis of entry-wise merit list and the number of vacancies in the respective entry.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2021 Training:

Candidates except Ex-Merchant Navy will be inducted into the rank of Sub Lieutenant. Ex-Merchant Navy candidates having Government of India, Ministry of Shipping & Transport Certificate of Competency (Foreign going) either as a Second Mate, Mate or Master will be inducted as Acting Lieutenant. Officers will undergo 44 weeks of training at Naval Academy Ezhimala followed by professional training at Naval Ships and training establishments as per extent regulation.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2021:- Applications are invited from UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES (fulfilling the conditions of nationality as laid down by the Govt. of India) to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala for a four-year B.Tech degree course under the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme.   • Age limit:- Born between 02 Jan 2002 and 01 Jul 2004 (both dates inclusive).
  • Educational Qualification:- Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examinations from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
  • Who can apply:- Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) -2020 (for B.E./ B.Tech) exam. Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) – 2020 All India Rank (AIR) published by NTA.

How to apply for Indian Navy Recruitment 2021 @10+2 (B.Tech) Entry Scheme

Candidates are to register and submit their application on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 29 Jan 2021. The last date for submission of the online application is 9th Feb 2021.

Selection Procedure

IHQ of MoD(Navy) reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR) – 2020. Approximately 900 candidates will be shortlisted for SSB. SSB interviews for short-listed candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore / Bhopal / Kolkata / Visakhapatnam from Mar-Jun 2021.

SSB interview will be conducted in two stages. Stage I test consists of Intelligence test, Picture Perception, and Group Discussion. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage-I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II test comprises Psychological testing, Group testing, and interviews which will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 working days).
