JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allocation: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will end registration and choice filling for Round 1 Seat Allocation for B.Tech. and BE programs on June 28, 2023. Candidates can apply at the official website, josaa.nic.in.

JoSAA 2023 Counseling Registration: Important Details

The registration and choice filling for BTech and BE programs under JoSAA 2023 started on June 19 and will end on June 28, 2023. The JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allocation List will be released on June 30 at 10 am. Candidates who are allotted seats in Round 1 will have to complete their online reporting and verification by July 4, 2023.

The joint counseling process, conducted by JoSAA, is currently underway for over 57,000 seats across 116 colleges nationwide, including IITs and NITs. To secure admission into IITs, NITs, and IIITs, students must meet the eligibility criteria set by their respective 12th boards, along with additional requirements.

According to the criteria, students need to either qualify within the top 20 percentile of their board category or score a minimum of 75 percent for general and OBC students and 65 percent for SC/ST students.

If the candidates have registered for JEE Main 2023, they will have to use their JEE Main 2023 application number. For candidates who have not registered for JEE Main 2023 but applied for JEE Advanced 2023, they will have to use their JEE Main 2022 application number.

If the candidates have registered for JEE Advanced 2023, they will have to use their JEE Advanced 2023 application numbers and JEE Main 2023 password.

  2. Click on “Registration and Choice Filling for JoSAA 2023” on the homepage.

  3. Login using your JEE credentials.

  4. Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.

  5. Check out the list and download it to your device.

  6. Take a printout for future reference.
