NWDA Recruitment 2021: National Water Development Agency (NWDA) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Hindi Translator, Jr. Accounts Officer, Upper Division Clerk, Stenographer, and Lower Division Clerk. The last date for submission of the application is 25.06.2021.

1. Post Name:- Junior Engineer (Civil)

• No of posts:- 16 [UR:11, OBC:1, SC:3, EWS:1]
• Age limit:- 18- 27 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level-6 (Rs. 35400- 112400/-)
• Educational Qualification:- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or equivalent.

2. Post Name:- Hindi Translator

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1]
• Age limit:- 21 – 30 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level-6 (Rs. 35400- 112400/-)
• Educational Qualification:-
  Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  OR
  Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  OR
  Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
  OR
  Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
  OR
  Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level;
  AND
  Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.

3. Post Name:- Jr. Accounts Officer

• No of posts:- 5 [UR:4, OBC:1]
• Age limit:- 21 – 30 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level-6 (Rs. 35400- 112400/-)
• Educational Qualification:-
  i) Degree in Commerce from a recognized University/ Institute.
  ii) Three years experience in Cash and Accounts in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body.

4. Post Name:- Upper Division Clerk

• No of posts:- 12 [UR:7, OBC:3, SC:1, EWS:1]
• Age limit:- 18 – 27 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25500- 81100/-)
• Educational Qualification:- Degree of a recognized University.

5. Post Name:- Stenographer Grade-II

• No of posts:- 5 [UR:3, ST:1, EWS:1]
• Age limit:- 18 – 27 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25500- 81100/-)
• Educational Qualification:- 12th Class passed from a recognized Board/University with Skill (Shorthand) Test (on Computer) at the speed of 80 wpm.

6. Post Name:- Lower Division Clerk

• No of posts:- 23 [UR:8, OBC:4, SC:6, ST:3, EWS:2]
• Age limit:- 18 – 27 years.
• Salary:- Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25500- 81100/-)
• Educational Qualification:-
  i) 12th Class passed from a recognized Board; and
  ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the NWDA’s website www.nwda.gov.in from 10.05.2021 to 25.06.2021.

Application Fee

An Application Processing Fee of Rs. 840/- (Rupees Eight Hundred and Forty only) for General & OBC category and Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for SC, ST, Women, EWS, and PWD category.

Selection Criteria

• For the posts of Junior Engineer, Hindi Translator, Junior Accounts Officer, and UDC the selection will be made through a competitive Computer Based online Test.
• For the posts of Stenographer Gr-II and LDC, the selection will be made through a competitive Computer Based online Test and Skill Test (Shorthand/ Typing).
• Qualified candidates in the online examination tests on a merit basis will be called for the Shorthand/Typing Test (Qualifying only) for the post mentioned at Sl. No.5 & 6. Typing Tests will be conducted in English or Hindi on a computer only.
