This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 7,951 posts of junior engineers in the department. Out of these, 17 vacancies are for Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research posts under RRB Gorakhpur. The remaining 7,934 vacancies are for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant posts.
The selection of the candidates for these posts will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by document verification (DV) and medical examination (ME). To participate in this recruitment drive the candidates must lie between the age criteria of 18 to 36 years. However, the upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories, as per applicable regulations.
RRB JE Recruitment 2024: Application fees
The candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs 500 as application fees. However, the candidates belonging to the reserved category such as SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) will pay Rs 250 as application fees. The candidates may note that an amount of Rs 250 shall be refunded after deducting bank charges, upon appearing in the 1st stage CBT.

- Register yourself and fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fees.
- At last click on submit and save the confirmation page.
