The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the result date for the recruitment exam for group D level posts. According to the official notification, the result will be released on March 4, 2019 (Monday). Candidates can check the result at the central and regional websites.
RRB group D recruitment exam was conducted to fill 62,907 vacancies. Over 1.8 crore candidates registered for the exam, according to officials. Selected candidates will now have to appear for physical endurance test (PET), medical examination and document verification to be eligible for the job. Those who are recruited by RRB at group D level job will get a salary of Rs 18,000 in addition to allowance and other benefits
Once the result is declared, the candidates who have appeared for the RRB Group D written examination can visit the official website of RRB- rrbcdg.gov.in – to check and download their result.
The candidates who have cleared the RRB Group D written examination need to Physical Efficiency Test(PET). The date and venue of PET would be initimated through the website. However, the candidates are advised to visit the RRB’s website on March 4, 2019, for the latest update on the PET date and venue.
The official announcement on the RRB’s website reads “The list of candidates shortlisted for PET against CEN No. 02/2018 for Level 1 posts shall be published on 04-03-2019”
Over 1.7 crore candidates had appeared for RRB Group D recruitment examination. The examination was held from September 17 to December 17, 2018.
Earlier, Angaraj Mohan, the Executive Director of RRB, had announced that the RRB Group D results would be released in February 2019. However, now it is officially confirmed that result for the same would be declared on March 4, 2019.
