The students were given a total of Rs 20.83 lakh in checks at a function and would award scholarships to 20 more students at a later date.

Under the RSP scholarship scheme, underprivileged meritorious students from peripheral villages and resettlement colonies in and around Rourkela are provided scholarship of Rs 1000 per month for pursuing higher secondary and secondary education and Rs 900 per month for those pursuing primary education, company sources said.
