SSC CHSL 2024: SSC Releases The Notification For CHSL 2024 Exam, Apply For 3,712 Posts At ssc.gov.in

SSC CHSL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification regarding the application process for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (SSC CHSL 2024). Interested candidates can view the SSC CHSL tier 1 official notification for more details. 

According to the official notification, this recruitment drive will fill out a total of 3,712 vacancies. Candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website i.e.  ssc.gov.in. The last date for submitting the applications is 7 May 2024.

Candidates may note that the Tier I (Computer-Based Examination) is scheduled to be held in June-July 2024. However, the dates for Tier 2 has not been announced yet. 

The official notice reads that “Updated vacancies, if any, along with post-wise & category-wise vacancies will be made available on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in> Candidate’s Corner> Tentative Vacancy) in due course.”

SSC CHSL 2024: Application Fee 

The commission will charge an application fee of 100 rupees to the candidates belonging to the general category. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation will not pay any kind of registration fee.

SSC CHSL 2024: Age Limit 

Interested candidates who want to take part in this recruitment drive must lie within the age group of 18 to 27 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will apply to reserve category candidates only. 

SSC CHSL 2024: Educational qualifications 

The educational qualification has been decided according to the post the candidate is applying for.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Ministry of Culture, candidates need to pass Class 12 in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized board or equivalent.

For DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ in other departments or ministries and all LDC/JSA posts, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board or university.
