Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education also mentioned that the work of evaluation of answer sheets will be paused from 24th to 26th of March 2024 for the occasion of Holi. In 2024, 2947311 students had registered for the UP Board High School examination and 25,77,997 students had registered for the Intermediate examination. A total of 55,25,308 students registered and appeared for the UP Board examinations in 2024.

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has appointed 94,802 examiners to evaluate 1.76 crore answer sheets of students who appeared in the high school examination of the UP Board. Also, 55,295 examiners have been appointed to evaluate 1.25 crore answer sheets of students who appeared in the intermediate examination of UP Board. Thus, 1,47,097 examiners have been appointed to evaluate a total of 3.01 crore answer sheets of board examinations.
For completing the work of evaluation of answer sheets 131 evaluation centers have been set up by the board for high school and 116 evaluation centers for intermediate answer sheets. 83 government and 117 non-government-aided secondary schools, hence a total of 260 centers have been made as evaluation centers by the UP Board.
