UP Board exams 2024

UP Board Exams 2024: The Council of Secondary Education Uttar Pradesh has announced a significant change in the timing of the upcoming high school and intermediate examinations, scheduled to commence from February 22. The released datesheet, which initially indicated the traditional start time of 7:30 am, now reflects a new timing starting at 8:30 am. The revised exam schedule will see candidates appearing for their exams from 8:30 am to 11:45 am.

Notably, candidates arriving at the examination center up to 30 minutes late during both shifts will be required to provide a valid reason for the delay. Entry will only be granted with the permission of the officials present at the center. This adjustment applies to the first shift, while the timing for the second shift examination remains unchanged, taking place from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Details regarding the second shift will be prominently displayed at the examination centers.

Candidates are advised to arrive at the examination center between 8 am to 8:30 am. However, even if a candidate arrives 30 minutes late, they will still be permitted to take the exam upon the approval of the officer present at the center. Additionally, disabled and visually impaired candidates will receive extra time, calculated at a rate of 20 minutes per hour beyond the prescribed duration.

These alterations aim to streamline the examination process and accommodate various circumstances, ensuring a fair and accessible testing environment for all candidates.
