Interested candidates seeking admission to B Tech First Year (Excluding Agriculture & Biotech) can apply online through the official Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counseling website at uptac.admissions.nic.in.
UP B.Tech Counseling 2023: Important Details
The seat allotment will be based on candidates’ merit and preferences. The registration process will be open from July 24, 2023, to August 5, 2023. During this period, candidates must pay the registration fee and upload the required documents. The counseling process will consist of seven rounds, with the first round of seat allotment results announced on August 14, 2023.
To ensure a smooth process, candidates are advised to keep track of various events and dates as listed on the official website. Key events and dates include document verification from July 25, 2023, to August 6, 2023, and responding to queries for round one from July 25, 2023, to August 7, 2023. The online choice filling and locking will take place from August 10, 2023, to August 13, 2023.
After seat allotment, candidates will have till August 16, 2023, to confirm their seats by making the necessary payment. During this timeframe, candidates can choose to either freeze or float their allotted seats as per their preferences. For Freeze Candidates up to Round 3, mandatory physical reporting at the allotted institution is required from August 24, 2023, to August 25, 2023.
It is essential to adhere to this reporting requirement; Failure to report will result in the allotted seat being deemed cancelled, with no refund provided for any reason whatsoever.
